FRANKLIN & SONS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE: BATH / BRISTOL

Are you looking to transition out of your highly successful top Bartender or General Manager role into a sales role, and become the face of our fast growing, award winning, premium soft drink and hand crafted tonic range - Franklin & Sons - in BATH OR BRISTOL?

Your job will be to use your experience in the on trade to provide education, brand and activation support to the top bars across Bath and Bristol and possibly into other local towns and cities when appropriate. In addition to working on Franklins, we’d be looking for you to influence your contacts in the business to build sales for our premium Global Brands products such as Hoopers Alcoholic Brew and Teichenne. There will be freedom and responsibility to identify new business opportunities, and to work closely with our regional sales managers to win and support these accounts.

Key attributes:

  • Excellent industry reputation across the premium Bath or Bristol bar scene – demonstrated through on trade drinks industry knowledge and connections
  • A confident individual with the ability to develop and deliver training and masterclasses to key contacts with the aim of influencing their buying decisions
  • Articulate and well presented
  • A well respected, inspirational, and engaging speaker
  • Regular user and contributor to various Social Media platforms

About You

Living and working in either Bath or Bristol, you will already have enjoyed several years working very successfully in the on trade in a variety of bar tending or general manager roles. You will be highly active and engaging on social media and well-connected to influential local, and, possibly, U.K wide bars and bartenders. We are seeking a confident candidate who thrive in the drinks world and is passionate about drinks, having gained their experience in the premium bar scene and now wish to extend their passion into a sales development role. This is not a standard 9 – 5 role, but then you’ll be accustomed to flexible hours coming from a trade background.

ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER

SENIOR BRAND MANAGER

Based in Chesterfield, Global Brands is the UK’s leading independent drinks business. Due to the continued excellent performance of our portfolio of drinks, and the importance of our marketing team in this success, we are now looking for a Senior Brand Manager to work on a fast growing brand, central to future growth and strategy of the business.

We are looking for candidates with a great track record in running innovative campaigns, working across the full marketing-mix to drive commercial success. Creative thinking is also a must; we actively encourage the new ideas and support our people wherever possible to make them a reality. We like spirited individuals who believe they can make a difference and are prepared to prove it.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be the development, management and delivery of the annual brand plan and marketing strategy including; advertising, events, experiential, social media, PR, promotional activity and product development.

The role also requires natural gravitas and leadership skills with experience managing multiple stakeholders and inspiring cross functional teams. You will need to be a strong communicator and be comfortable at presenting at a senior level both internally and to some of our largest customers.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • 5+ years’ experience of working in brand marketing with drinks or FMCG brands (ideally soft drinks/mixers)
  • Be a highly numerate and commercial thinking with a clear ability to present robust and compelling insight / direction
  • Have the capacity to switch easily between strategic and operational tasks , taking hands on responsibility for brands within the portfolio
  • Experience delivering projects in different areas / channels - ATL, instore, digital, social, events etc
  • To have experience of NPD, innovation and/or packaging improvements
  • Be confident, outgoing and able to communicate to stakeholders at all levels
  • Possess an entrepreneurial flair and can do attitude;
  • Be able to analyse and present results, data and insights
