EXPLOSIVE CAR STUNT UNVEILS NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR KICK ENERGY

Entrepreneur and rally driver, Steve Perez has teamed up with Bowler Nemesis cars to unveil yet another high profile opportunity for Kick Energy - at an event which involved a boy band member, a high speed car race and several explosions.

On a dedicated Off-Road Circuit just outside Abingdon in Oxfordshire, Boyzone heart throb, Ronan Keating, rugby star and Strictly Come Dancing contestant, Matt Dawson and BBC News Reader, Kate Silverton were amongst the celebrities asked to take part in the making of Top Gear presenter, Jeremy Clarkson's new DVD.

The stunt, which took place on 5th August, involved the celebrities driving second-hand cars around the track at high speed - not too out of the ordinary, apart from the fact that explosives were strapped to the vehicle.
In true Top Gear style, if they failed to beat the track time set by Edd Cobley driving the Bowler Nemesis, then the car would explode.

Ronan Keating and Jeremy Clarkson were among the drivers who failed to meet the time restriction, but the producers were lenient enough to let them escape before blowing their cars to pieces.

This was one of many high profile TV stunts that Bowler Off Road have been involved with, having built up a strong reputation for creating innovative and robust vehicles for the world's harshest motor sport events.

And now, with the expertise of Global Brands' Chairman, Steve Perez, Drew Bowler is developing the first road-going version of the Bowler Nemesis series - the Bowler Nemesis EXR.

Drew Bowler, who is based in Derbyshire, commented:

"Drawing on our experience and with the support of Land Rover, the time felt right to broaden our horizons and push the boundaries further."

"With Steve Perez and Kick Energy behind us, we hope the Nemesis EXR will supply all the excitement and adventure of our rally cars built into a usable environment."

This will also be a great opportunity to build awareness for Kick Energy, which will be associated with the Launch of the Nemesis EXR.

Steve Perez said,
"Rallying has always been a lifelong passion of mine and so the opportunity to be involved in the development of the Nemesis EXR is a huge honour. Bowler Offroad's close association with programmes like Top Gear is also fantastic for Global Brands because of its massive popularity with our target market."

Drew Bowler's cars have previously appeared on Fifth Gear and the Top Gear Stunt Challenge 2008.
