Fratello

Fratello is a 20% abv premium hazelnut liqueur that is produced by the Francoli Distillery in the beautiful Lake District of Piemonte, Italy. The UK launch is part of an international push for the Fratello brand.

Fratello is made from toasted hazelnuts and infusions of cocoa, vanilla berries and Sambuco flowers. This smooth, warming and well balanced liqueur has flavours of toasted wild hazelnuts, chocolate and vanilla with added character from ageing in oak casks. Fratello is extremely versatile and can be enjoyed as a cold drink, mixed with fresh limes or cola; poured over ice cream, or added as a shot to coffee or hot chocolate.

The Francoli family claims its origins from Campodolcino, a small alpine village close to the Swiss border. Originally started by Luigi Guglielmo in 1875, the Francoli family has been officially distilling for five generations.

Suggested serve: The Fratello Hazelnut Martini

30ml Fratello Hazelnut Liqueur
30ml Vodka
Method: Mix in a shaker over ice and strain into a Martini glass. Serve with a lime garnish.
